Ma Shi frowned deeply. Who else could it be but Hua Ruoyan’s maid?

Just this morning, the maid had come to her courtyard to talk about the tonic sent by the Second Prince. How could something happen in the short time Ma Shi went to the study?

The maids serving Hua Ruoyan were inexperienced, so it was understandable they didn’t know.

But Hua Ruoyan showing signs of a miscarriage was something Ma Shi couldn’t tolerate.

If this matter was lightly dismissed, the maids wouldn’t learn to be cautious and might cause more trouble in the future.
