Yan Su received a report from the private investigator.

It stated that Ruan Zhixia had fabricated false evidence and planned to cause trouble at Yan Shu’s workplace to ruin her reputation.

Without haste, he reported the matter to the police and brought along the prepared materials to the hospital with the officers.

In the hospital lobby, Ruan Zhixia’s loud accusations echoed.

“Where’s your supervisor? I want to report Nurse Yan Shu for her indecent private life. She shamelessly seduced my husband despite having a boyfriend, ruining my family!”

She held onto a shifty-looking man, none other than her “husband,” Jiang Shaofeng.

Several heiresses from prominent families have banded together to report me to the boss for toying with their feelings. You know how strict the boss is about employees’ personal conduct. If he finds out what I’ve done, I’ll definitely get fired!”

Hearing this, Su Ye bolted upright in bed, frowning. “How did it escalate to this?”

Jiang Xuefeng evaded the details but clung to the leverage of Su Ye’s and Yan Jiaoyue’s involvement at the hot spring resort, using it to pressure him for help.

Frustrated, Su Ye sneered, “You brought this on yourself. If you dared to entangle yourself with several heiresses, you’d better be ready for their revenge. I can’t help you.”
